Very unique property. Turns out to be the site of the Ding Dong store where the town of Ding Dong got its name. In 1922, the Bell brothers built a store and the artist wrote Ding Dong under the bells on the sign and the town of Ding Dong was born. The old store disappeared mysteriously in the late 70s to early 80s. The old timers still talk about it but none of them could pinpoint where exactly the store stood…until today when we unearthed the exact location on this 3.94 acre tract. In clearing the property for an RV park we discovered the old town of Ding Dong Texas. Ding Dong proper is on this 3.94 acre tract. Many possibilities. Re-build the store, add RV slots, build a warehouse, bunches of ideas!
