Brent Bockholt is the Co-Owner of Austin Property Team (APT) and is in charge of the overall operations and business development. He is an active member of the Austin Board of Realtor (ABOR), the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and a licensed Realtor ®. After his three year career as a business development manager with a custom home builder he worked for Coldwell Banker for 2 years and received rookie of the year in 2007.
Susan Bockholt is Co-Owner and Broker of Austin Property Team (APT). She handles the monthly accounting and corporate business requirements. She started her real estate career in 2005 with e-Executive Realty where she learned the ropes of property management and dealing with multi-family properties. She obtained her Broker’s license in 2009 prior to starting APT with husband Brent Bockholt. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Biology degree and later received a Masters degree in Biology from the University of North Texas.
Roy is a residential Realtor specializing in both sales and leasing. Roy grew up in Chicago and came to Austin in 1997 to attend the University of Texas at Austin. He received his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and has lived in Austin since 2005. Roy worked as an electrical engineer at Intel as well as an independent financial advisor at Bluefish Financials before becoming a Realtor. Roy teamed up with his wife Jorie Shalem and now they work together as a husband and wife realtor team here at Austin Property Team.
Jorie is a residential Realtor specializing in both sales and leasing. Jorie grew up in Houston and came to Austin in 1990 to attend the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated with a degree in Psychology and has made Austin her home ever since. Jorie worked as a homeowners insurance claims adjuster for State Farm for 9 years before becoming a realtor. Jorie has been a realtor for 10 years helping clients buy, sell and lease homes in the Austin area. Jorie teamed up with her husband Roy Shalem and now they work together as a husband and wife realtor team here at Austin Property Team.
